Folding bikes: TYKETOTER may work, however, seat post diameter is usually too wide for Tyketoter clamp wings. Seat Post Diameter cannot exceed 1.25 in. (32mm). There may not be a good place to mount the foot peg. 

Suspension Seat Posts: will generally not work with TYKETOTER design. Some suspension posts have room below the suspension. Please make sure that when mounted, Tyketoter is not so low that it hits your top tube. See below.

Top Tube: Measure out front and level 13 inches (33 cm.) from your seat post to see if it will hit your top tube when mounted on your seat post. TYKETOTER takes up approximately 2 in. (50 mm.) of your seat post, and protrudes from the center point of those 2 inches.

Down Tubes: Extra thin diameter down-tubes or odd-shaped down-tubes can effect the mounting of the foot peg. You may request extra rubber shims with your order so that it is mounted safely and correctly. Please see the instructions for proper mounting of the foot-peg. You may order extra rubber shims here, for your convenience.

Perfect for our 3 year old
This is the perfect transition from the baby bike trailer. Our 3 year old LOVES it, and loves to (safely!) ring the bike bell and wave to everyone we pass. Absolutely get this if you're considering it!

Tyke Toter is so fun
Loved every ride with my kid on this, and I was kind of sad when he outgrew it. Great way to ride together, balance and stability are great, and it's easy to converse while riding, unlike with other kid bike seats.

Excellent. My 8 year old is still using this. Though, it got stolen once as it is easy to steal off the bike. I think it should be better way of attaching it to a bike to make it harder to steal.

A fun time
LOL, I bought this year's ago. We used it for a few summers, but my child has long since outgrown it. She's 11 now! I loved having her in front of me on the bicycle, being able to point things out and watch her enjoy outside as much as I do. I have to admit after a couple years with it on (used for two kids) it was nice to have it off. But it is THE way to go. Way lighter than other set ups, puts the kid where they have fun, but are under control. ;) So much better in *practice*, than other arrangements.

This was one of the best things I've bought. It's compact and easy to install. My toddler uses the footrest for getting on/off as well. Very sturdy. Awesome engineering! I have 2 kiddos and the smaller one gets to sit in the front in the Tyke Toter and enjoys the view. The bigger one in the back...This was one of the best things I've bought. Nice product definitely worth a try
Already sold the carrier as my kids had outgrown it but we share some fun and memorable memories with it. I think this is better than infant trailers you drag behind as those are too bulky and cumbersome to transport. But Tyketoter feels like your toddler is a part of you, you see him all the time, your arms/legs act as a side rails kind of security or protection, you can have a nice conversation and your little precious can see whatever you see without obstruction. The only negative side for me is sometimes it gets in the way with pedaling your bike you kinda have to angle your legs to get the power especially on uphills when you stand to get that extra leverage and power and lastly your view depending how tall you baby is is slightly obstructed. But overall a nice product that is definitely worth of your hard earned money, after my kids had outgrown it I bought Adams trail a bike and now they have their own bikes.

Best ever!
This item is the only one that was comfortable for my daughter. She loves it and sat on it when she was just over 1. Now she is almost 5 and will still sit on it and ride with me. Even though she is much bigger, we both still have plenty of room.

I like the seat the simplicity of the design and the quality of the seat so much, I am hesitant to sell it although my grandsons graduated to their own bikes (way sooner than growing up to challenge the strength of the seat - this thing is sturdy). It is still like new, and will be a great present.

Have used it mainly for daycare drop offs and picks ups, rides around town, but also bike packing in the back country. He will happily spend all day on it (with breaks of course). He feels like he’s in the drivers seat and is way more engaged with what is going on around. We also have the standard type of seat that goes behind the bike and the tyke toter is better in every way!

I love love love this!
It’s been a few years since purchase of the Tyke Toter— though the price was a little more than some of the other options, I would gladly buy it again. It is built solidly and has given me and my son such wonderful time together on my bike. He loves it, I love it— awesome buy!!
